Clinical observer is exactly like you said a person who is attached to the hospital , unpaid, and unable to make direct contact with the patients , it is similar to the clinical attachment in the UK

It is a good way to familarize yourself with the system before actually getting a paid job and certainly it will increase your chances in getting a job in the same hospital you are observer in or in other hospitals if you get good reference from that hospital

I would definitely recommend that pathway in the interim if you are here and still can't find a paid job

The ALS is a Two days course and it cost 900 L.E

Both courses are held in Cairo and Alexandria and I intend to take the BLS in June ....Oh and they told me that they can organize special courses for groups but they can't be less than 16 persons

Both courses are given by the Egyptian Resuscitation Council EgRC which is a division of the European Resuscitation Council and here is their website for more information EgRC

The one thing I need help with is which type of the IELTS should we take? The general or the academic?

it is a bit strange that the british council don't do IELTS courses , what do they do then !!

As i said when you apply for any job you send an email as a cover letter and attached to it your CV

the cover letter is supposed to give a short and to the point idea about you because the panel don't have time to read the whole CV

SO they read the cover letter first , and if they like it they proceed to have a look at the CV and if they like it you get an interview

there is an application kit with all the job ads, you can find it if you google "health job and NSW " and search for resident medical officer jobs , have a read and let me know what you think

In any case you will have to do an interview before getting the job, this interview can by either in person if you are here in australia or over the phone if you are still in EGYPT

The main difference in someone getting you a job in a hospital he is working in is that he will give you good recommendation which might increase your chances in getting the job

This conspiracy theory is what is making us lagging behind in everything, we always think that some one is conspiring againest us, and that a strange force is working againest you in Egypt to prevent your progression

in listening masalan it is not possible to have a different mark to your performance because it is usually one word that is right and if you get you score the point otherwise you don't, there is no opinions , and the examiners don't give you marks on personal impression, and definitely the don't know you to give you either good or bad marks, and there is a system to appeal for the results so if your friend is really sure of his answers he should appeal and he will get his paper marked again

I did IELTS in Egypt and australia and apart from the huge numbers of people taking the exam here there was no difference between the two test and in any center you will get the marks you deserve

Thanks for the effort

two initial comments,

Extensive spelling mistakes, i can guarantee that no one will proceed to look at your CV with these mistakes, a good way to learn may be is to try and write it in Microsoft office and get the spelling check to get the right spelling

Second, there is no structure for your letter, so try and address the essential and the desirable criteria in a systematic way
