anyone taking the clinical exam next may ,please contact me so that we study together.the clinical exam next may is held in Adelaide and brisbane?which one do you recommend for me?which one the exam will be easier?is studying from the handbook of clinical assessment enough for preparing fotr the exam?how else can i prepare for the exam?please anyone answer me

i passed the amc mcq exam in sep.2009

i heard that i wont find a place inthe clinical exams except after a year at least due to overload

is that right?

sorry .. I just knew that the new numbers for part 1 is 10% & for part 2 is 30%

what is the source of that info

from where i can get formal info or statistics about that issue ?

Unfortunately the amc hasn't published any numbers about job chances after passing the exam.

These numbers are my personal impressions based on friends and colleagues i met, so they are a very rough guide just to give you an idea and to set your expectations

THEY ACCEPTED ONLY A CERTIFIED TRANSLATED COPY OF THE CARTOON CERTIFICATE

I CERTIFIED THE COPY IN THE AUSTRALIAN EMBASSY

i have also obtained ALS from european resuscitation council and CME online from Harvard medical school.

does this make any difference in finding job opportunities or occupational training in australia

بيسموه هنا يا باشا clinical attachement

مفيهوش شروط ,إنت بتبعت لأي مستشفي وأو مجموعه وإنت وحظك

وممكن قسم في وست ميد يوافق و قسم لأ

طبعا مفيش تعليم ,إنت بتمشي مع دكتور وتشوفه بيعمل إيه ,لو الدكتور ده عنده وقت وعايز يعلمك هيعلمك ,غير كده هتتعلم بالمشاهده بس

طبعا لو ظهرت وظيفه ملائمه ليك و أنت موجود فرصك بتكون افضل من لو قدمت ومحدش عارف عنك حاجه ,بس للاسف ده ملوش مكان في المستشفيات الكبيره اللي في اماكن مهمه زي سيدني مثلا ,لأن النظام اللي اتعمل السنه ديه خلي الناس أصحاب الجنسيه والاقامه الدائمه أصحاب اعلي الفرس بغض النظر عن خبرتهم ,نوع من التفريق العنصري علي حسب نوع باسبورك والفيزا ,لكن في المستشفيات البعيده والمحتاجه ده ممكن يكون وسيله للحصول علي وظيفه لو مستوفي كل الشروط

first thx a lot dr ziad and dr ihab for your efforts, u really did a great job guys , i've been reading in your topic for few months now , and i gathered some info about amc from here and from people who recently examined , and i guess its time to participate in this conversation.. i registered for the amc in may

and i hope we all secceed and meet together in australia, anyway there is an important thing that nobody talked about ,

on 11 december a new MCQ BOOK will be released from th AMC themselves , called HANDBOOK OF MCQ FOR AMC.

this info is published on the amc website

i'm planning to buy this book as soon as it is released

and i will go to ain shams book stores to allow them to copy it before i use it , so that u can all benifit from it.

about how and from where to study:

many people recommended john mortage text

but to be honest i didn't like it

others recommended kaplan books

but i think kaplan alone is not enough, and mortage is distracting

me myself i study kaplan + first aid

both together can fill the blanks and defects in anyone alone.....

and remember thati this is only the start , the more important are th MCQ's and their explanations

as we all know the world MCQ's are very important for usmle , and i believe the info it contains is important for amc as well

world's mcq has a similar format for the usmle , qanada qbank mcq's on the other hand are very similar in the format of the amc and relatively the cheapest mcq site

so my opinon and plan : kaplan +first aid +world mcq +canada qbank mcq +the new amc mcq book

منور يا دكتور رامز وربنا يوفقك ان شاء الله انا فعلا بذاكر من كابلان والفيرست ايد وبحل اساله من usmle Qbook & lang & firse aid Q&A بس كتاب world usmle الى انا اشتريته عبارة عن كتابين كلهم فروع الباطنة بس هل هو دة فعلا الكتاب ولا انا اشتريت واحد غلط .... تانى حاجة لو سمحت لما ينزل كتاب ال AMC الجديد ياريت تقولى اشتريته منين وازاى علشان انا محتاجه اذاكرة قبل ما ادخل الامتحان ..... انت يا باشا امتياز ولا تكليف ياريت تبعتلى ميلك على البرايفت علشان نبقى على اتصال ونشجع بعض ان شاء الله مستنى ردك يا باشا

regarding the occupational training,i have read on site of immigration to australia that one of the visa options for doctorrs is occupational trainee visa and the followwing is a copy and paste from the site:

Some doctors coming to Australia to undertake a supervised training program may be able to apply for an Occupational Trainee visa for up to 12 months. The doctor must be appointed to a designated training position that is not primarily service-providing in nature. Organisations providing occupational training programs must apply to nominate doctors for this visa.

could you please tell me how to find jobs in australia and what are the best places that i can try to find jobs in?
