FIRST DAYS INCANADA TO WHOM THAT KNOWS NO ONE IN CANADA MIGHT BE NOT DIFFICULT IF HE KNOWS RIGHT PLACES TO GO

it is prefered to go to "safe" hostel , not anyone that you find on internet, i prefere the "hostelling international" at 74 church st, down town, it takes about 20$ from members and 23$ from non-members , to be a member go to beyout-el-shabab in el manyal st.

and there are also private rooms about 70$/day.

i write "safe" hostel , because the first one i went it was with good price -20$- including breakfast, 30 minute daily internet access, free lockers .........but i discovered it was in unsafe area - china town- nearby downtown .

when u find poor , homeless, "hebys",........etc

so later on i moved to the hostelling international.

Hostelling international is 3 minutes -walking- from the main building of NOVA SCOTIA BANK the only canadian bank that has a branch in egypt.

all egyptian immigrants that applied for immigration from cairo should have acount in this bank.

the address of bank is at the cross of Bay st and King st.

and 3 minutes from the hostel.

so first thing is to goto the bank with any letter thet they sent to you and ask to have a either debit card or redite card.

MOST IMPORTANT ADDRESS IN TORONTO.................

is NIC "Newcomer Information Center"

this center help the new immigrants with all the advices , books , seminars , inetrnet access , telephone , fax, photocopier .......................ALL FOR FREE

very nice people , speak slow english for immigrants and have all answers 4 your questions

thier address is 42 charles st.

(2 blocks south of BLOOR , east of YONGE"........

BLOOR and YOUNG are the main two roads in downtown toronto)
