this happen to me also I failed the written exam once since they have many signs no one has seen before specially in our home countries like snow removals and others alike.

in Canada there is no room for (fahlawa) it won't work here everything is well organized and require training and skills

also it is better to have training since it saves some insurance money afterwords.

the driving in Canada is much better driving in many countries here people follow the rules which is good

the driving license has many levels G1 G2 and G which require more skills to pass its exams.

good luck to everyone who is seeking the license and you need both luck and training ... note: people here sometimes make parties when one pass the road test to obtain G level license.

Christmas goodwill deserted the Canadian dollar Monday.

The currency had one of its worst one-day slides of the year as a flight to quality sparked by Argentina's move toward the world's biggest-ever default and volatile low-volume trading conditions drove it down almost half a U.S. cent.

The currency was off its lows of the morning, when it fell to a record intraday low of 62.3 cents US, but still closed down 0.45 of a cent from Friday at 62.63 cents US.

the problem that not in the currency value, the problem in the great dependence of Canada on USA.

So we have to wait till USA recover to see any hope, look at the UK, they are least affected by the USA.

I got my first job on Jan 1998, it was through resaerch the internet for software companies and their profile and online application for one of those companies

I didn't depend on any agency though agencies do help sometimes.

Now I'm like others laid off people and still searching for a suitable position, but I haven't have any new job since this summer when I started applying .. you know the market situation its bad for everyone even if you have the Canadian Experience still hard specially in the Hi tech sector.

the oly thing you can do for now is keep current with the tech to enhance your chances when the market pick up again hopefuly next summer.

I also notice very strange thing, The number of people called me from USA are 3 times those of Canada, but I always have the problem of TN visa, so I advice you as you have been here for 3 years now, is to apply for citizenship to be legal for TN. then send your resume to all people and agency in USA and Canada.

the question now what is the future of Hi Tech, what technology should one keep on?

to AlwaysDream : I'm a Canadian Citizen and I applied for work in both Canada and US but the responses I got was not good since the positions available are realy small. I got responses from some US agencies but I think they just collecting resumes ... nothing of value.

now the entire economy suffers and this started early this year with the .com melt down and all the other sectors followed so I don't know about the future of any particular sector we have to wait til the dust sittle and the air clears to know where the economy is hiding at.

I wished that we continue our discussion, and I wished too to know who really burn Alex. Library by comparing what I have with the opposite opinion, but it seemed that Hisham has another opinion.

Any way I still inisist that I did not break any rule, and I still insist that current subject about canada is critical for the new comer so I will limit my posting here only.

and the last thing I had never heard about it before until I come here.

Regarding the kofta, if u really have experience, then u will be milioneer within few years, because food is very profitable here.

Ama enta ya Mike, you will be on that fire even after January, because if I met with free, it will be top secret and nobody will know what had happened!!!
