Abeeeeeeeeeeer Shut up and listen!
How many times I felt that from others!
Come on! I don't have to listen to everything!
I am a visual person and seeing your facial expression and your body language, I can understand you without having to listen to you! 
as I mainly receive information through different channels other than my ears!!
I was accused a lot of not giving people a chance to talk
They didn't like it when I cut their sentences with the answer and kept complaining that they need to finish what they wanted to say even if I understood! They kept denying that I did :)
I hated myself for that, thinking that I was bad by doing so!
I started to shush myself, forcing my ears to listen and my mouth not to talk 
I spent a lot of time trying to gain that skill 
to be a good listener
resisting my nature
till I missed my voice, that I started talking to myself with a voice whenever I am alone!
I ended up unhappy, feeling bad
So what if I am not a perfect listener??
It's OK not to be a good listener
I am a perfect speaker 
I love to speak 
I love my voice 
I love my toning
I love my language and my ability to choose words preciously
I love to listen to ME
I do believe that what I say is worth to be listened to 
I will only listen to those voices I love to listen to 
who have what I want to listen to 
Not by force nor by accusing
No more resisting my nature 
If you feel that you want to talk and to be listened to, it's OK!
Find a good listener for both of us!

From my experience as a mother and a teacher that the best is to give the child the chance to take the lead and colour their own paper teaching them to choose WHAT to put in it and WHO is allowed to share something on it , and above all, to discover the ability to renew the paper whenever they want to!
 We have been taught that the paper once it's coloured it can't be emptied again 
Then later I discovered that it's possible not only on the" Paint" programme on the computer but also on the physical paper as we can repaint it with white again
It is the philosophy of not REMOVING what we do not want but MOVING them by FILLING NEW COLOURS on the paper starting by WHITE to give a new start 
There are always solutions to everything!
